I bought my Mark III back around 1987 and it has been by my side through the Rodney King Riots in LA working in a gun store, and competing in weekly IPSC club shoots. About 8 years ago I took it to Terry Tussey Gunsmithing for s trigger job and tune up. The mag disconnect got tossed, installed new sights, new hammer, polished the sear, made it very nice lighter trigger. Then I had it Cerakoted as the bluing has been worn off. About two years ago, Springfield came out with the SA35, their High Power copy. Since Browning is no longer making the BHP, i retired the BHP and used the SA35 as my 9mm single action pistol. Such a nice feeling pistol, proven and used by more countries than any other, used by top tier special ops teams like the British SAS, until they were shot out and they changed a few years ago. The FBI HRT team used Browning High Powers customized by Wayne Novak, until they had that Miami shootout and blamed rhr 9mm and went back to the 1911.

In my opinion the m9 A3 or the Glock 19x should of been the choice. Both are better guns than m17. I own them all.

Love the one I got. Best barrel length is 5 inch. Still can be daily carry as I do many days and enough barrel length for any wild game and protection.

I own a GP100 10 round 22 S,L & LR with a 5.5 inch semi lug barrel profile. I love it!

Looks like a solid multi-use revolver. An 8-shot .327 Federal Magnum version of this GP100 would find a ready home in my holster. How about it, Davidson's?

All I know is that I absolutely love mine. Accurate, feels great, never lets you down. A true and tested piece of capable hardware.

These derringers make great punch to the ribs in CQC situations......i get a little confused by people always saying these are snake guns! Yes, they can be effective in that way too, but if you haven't seen what a punch to the ribs and a .410 CD round or .45 Hornady HP can do to an attacker, then you are missing the mark.

I have always wanted a pre 64 model 70, and although I have come close to owning one once or twice, I had to settle for a sporterized 03 Springfield.

I have one of these chambered in .243 Winchester wood stock version. The bolt was a little hard to close on an empty chamber at first but some lubrication of the lug surfaces took care of that. I have found some brands of brass fit the chamber very tight causing resistance closing the bolt. Hornady and Starline are two of them. I had some Fiocci brass that had thick necks and would not chamber after bullets being seated I abandoned using it in this rifle. I fired twenty rounds of Norma factory ammunition through it and the rest have been handloads mostly loaded in Remington brass and the Starline after bumping the shoulder back on the new Starline prior to loading. Accuracy has been average, velocities with the 20" barrel have been slower than published data from 26" barrels that is to be expected. I bore scoped the barrel when I received mine and it looked very good for a rifle in this price range it does copper foul but cleans easily I shoot lots of Berger bullets in it and did a break in now I am shooting more rounds between cleaning it seems to like 87 to 95 grain boat tail bullets the best and 58 grain Barnes and V Max on the light side. The 87 grain Berger VLD hunting bullets have grouped less than half moa for five shots at 100 yards pretty consistently when I do my part even with the factory trigger setting. I tried adjusting the screw it didn't seem to lower the pull weight just reduced the engagement so I returned it to its original setting of four pounds. I did have the scope rail come loose and found three of the screws were stripped Savage sent me new ones but I had replacement ones on hand the ones Savage sent are very short I left mine in there.

Had APs, PA63s, and a Walam or two- not to mention russian and bulgarian makarovs, in 32, 380, and 9x18. All of them awesome, all reliable. The pa63 in 9x18 had a bit of a bite but nothing a stouter recoil spring couldnt fix. Some of the APs had a heavy trigger, which again, Wolff springs. On some of the APs with the aluminum frames they have that brown-goldish wear on them, which the PA63s never did- prob a military/police issue thing vs commercial. Some I've seen for whatever reason have a parked slide that are meh. Beyond that, the finish was mighty lusty to me. I've had two S&W ppk/s pistols, one blue and one stainless. Both were temperamental, needed regular oil, and jammed all the time. I sent one back to S&W, they said they ran several mags through it and never had a jam but, that's hooey. The sharp edges kinda wore your hand out after a few mags, had a lot of recoil for a 380, and as a bit hefty. I'd like to try a true walther made ppk one day. This video kinda throws off on feg a bit- but I've had zero issues with them, and their AMD ak was a delight and well made too. Theyve been making hipower clones for a long time and they're good stuff also.

The worst gun I ever owned was a Walther PPK in .380 auto. Constant jams and feeding issues so I got rid of it and swore I'd never own another Walther. This one however, has me intrigued...

It's interesting that the Rangers had requested some amphibious vehicles with iong extendable fire truck ladders that the British Commandos had but they did not arrive in time. The intent was to quickly send the first troops up the ladder to create havoc while the rest followed.
